As the Founder and CEO of Fam Brands, Frank Zarabi oversees all facets of the business. Frank has a proven executive management track record and over 30 years of experience driving sales growth in the apparel industry. Over the years Frank has applied his manufacturing expertise in building relationships with over 30 factories in 8 countries. Frank strongly believes in a diversified supply chain because gives Fam Brands a range of capabilities and competencies. With its diversified supply chain Fam Brands is able meet the unique needs of each buyer. Fam Brands currently manufactures over 30 million units a year. In the past 15 years Frank has acquired over 6 companies ranging from $10-80 million in sales, and has seamlessly integrated them into the organization. Frank has received awards from numerous retail partners for his outstanding service, quality, and reliability. Frank completed a two year Executive Program at the UCLA Anderson School of Business.
Nazy Salamat is the Co-Founder and EVP of Design of Fam Brands. Nazy leads our team of creative, technical, and graphic designers. This team has an output of over 2000 apparel designs a year. Nazy manages design relationships with our licensors, licensees, and private label customers. These relationships demand a clear understanding of the unique needs of every stakeholder. She also oversees private label design relationships with Lane Bryant, Reebok, BCG, and Ideology to name a few. The prestigious Refinery29 recently recognized Nazy’s Lane Bryant and Marika sports bras as best in class. Previous to Fam Brands, Nazy was the Director of Design and Merchandising at LCA Intimates, an intimate apparel company. Nazy holds a BA from Cal State Long Beach in Graphic Design.
EVP/Sales & Marketing
Carrie Henley is the Fam Brands Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. She has over 25 years of experience working with FAM. Since joining the Fam Brands team, she has made major contributions to re-launch and expand the Fam Brands portfolio and has been instrumental in growing the revenue to over $250 million in retail sales. Carrie has a proven ability to lead her team of professionals in global sales, marketing and ecommerce. With flexibility and a dedication to customer service, Carrie’s team has attained large and stable footholds in several top global retail spaces. Carrie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Rich Campanelli is an industry professional with 40 years of wholesale and retail experience. Rich has been with Fambrands for over 15 years as COO, where he is responsible for establishing, leading and managing all facets of company operations, including Supply Chain and Logistics and IT. Additionally, Rich is responsible leading all aspects of Global Sourcing - from Product Development and Costing, to Production Management, Hong Kong Office Operations, and factory selection and matrix maintenance. Rich and his team have constructed an extensive and versatile factory and fabric mill matrix in 8 countries to fulfill Fambrands’ diverse apparel product classification requirements which include Men’s, Women’s, and Children’s knit and woven Tops and Bottoms, Activewear, Sweaters, and Outerwear. At the same time the sourcing organization must ensure that this complex factory network exceeds not only Fambrands’ strict Responsible Sourcing Compliance standards, but also that of its demanding major retail and licensing partners.
Prior to joining Fambrands, Rich had an extensive and well-rounded 25-year retail career with JCPenney including positions in Store and District Staff Management, Buying and Sourcing. In addition, in senior management Rich led the Product Development department for the Men’s Division, and completed his tenure at Penney driving sales and profit growth in various VP / DMM positions in Children’s Apparel, as well as Men’s, Women’s, and Kid’s Footwear.
